About the Into the Valueverse 1 - Live at the Fickle Pickle

💡

What made it unique:

Fans in the room — and around the world — could send boosts and zaps (instant lightning micropayments) directly to the artists while they played, thanks to Podcasting 2.0 apps and NOSTR.

The stream included value time splits, so sats flowed seamlessly to whichever artist was on stage.

💰

Result: Together, we raised 0.0045 BTC (~£375) for the artists on the night.

🙏 Massive thanks to the legends who made it happen:

Azte.co • Fountain.fm • Rajesh Taylor • Adrian Earth • Micky from BTC Essex • Joe Lamb • The Fickle Pickle Club

The valueverse is where artists publish their music to the Bitcoin layer of the internet, allowing fans and listeners to send “boosts” (small Bitcoin payments) directly to them. It’s music in its purest form: peer-to-peer, value-for-value. Artists receive almost all of the value, with no middlemen — just music, connection, and freedom
